Id's narrative strikes with urgency and sincerity. His tendency to address issues other than how dope he is sets him apart from 80% of the emcees out there. And although "Prose before hos" is still his motto, he still knows how to appreciate malt liquor and loose women. Id's poetry addresses everything from mass mental exodus from our commercially saturated environment, to heart break, and delivers these with ease and irony...although he can't take credit for the irony.
